Elim Covenant Church Then and Now

Founded  by Swedish immigrants in 1904, the old Elim Covenant Church is just a couple blocks west of Matt’s Bar on 35th. The church became Hope Temple and was established as a Foursquare Church in 1972.

    Thank you! Somehow I thought Elim Church was the one that was just across the street (north) of Folwell Jr. High School. My parents and older brothers attended Elim Covenant church and I, obviously, didn’t know where it was until your post.

    I attended Elim Covenant Church when I was about 4 and it was located on Como Ave and Dale in St. Paul. Did it move? or were there two Elim Covenant churches?
