First and Franklin Then and Now

Crown Medical is a people-oriented, health care provider that started up in 2005. The desire to bridge the gap in health care service disparities was the driving force behind the establishment of this clinic on 1st and Franklin in Minneapolis and another in Brooklyn Park.The check cashing business that’s located a block down toward Nicollet occupied the Franklin Avenue side of the building for a short time in the late eighties, but I think the place as mostly played home to a clinic of one sort or another for over sixty years.
