Miss Bush?
A billboard with former president Bush asking if we miss him yet, mysteriously turned up along I35 near Wyoming, Minnesota. It’s hard to tell if the billboard is directed at President Obama’s performance or Bush’s unpopularity. It must be a slow news day because for some reason the story has attracted media attention around the world.
Crazy like a Fox News is reporting that the Schubert and Hoey advertising agency has revealed that the sign is being rented by a group of small business owners and individuals who feel Washington is against them. I felt the same way about nine years ago when Al Gore got an election yanked out from under him. The folks that rented the billboard want to remain anonymous, but it smells like a tea bagging to me. At least they have a sense of humor about it. They’re getting quite the reaction. There are rumors that people have sent in donations to keep the billboard up longer. Such Fun!
