So, Hiawatha says to Minnehaha, “What do you call a small joke?”… You just need a few ingredients to make a Minnehaha!
1 1⁄2 oz Gin
3⁄4 oz Dry vermouth
3⁄4 oz Sweet vermouth
1⁄4 oz Orange juice
Shake it, strain, grin, up and away you go!
There are probably a hundred variations on the classic Minnehaha cocktail. This one is pretty close close to the 1930 Savoy version. I went lighter on the juice and left out the dash of absinthe.
