Swede Lake in Carver County is almost 450 acres with a maximum depth of 12 feet. The fish population is presently dominated by black bullheads, green sunfish, and fathead minnows.

Oak Lake is the Swamp of the Day 10/18/2010

Oak lake, situated mostly in section 11 of Carver county, is one and a half miles long and about one and a quarter miles long and has almost nine miles of shallow gravelly shoreline. The lake is well stocked with fish and has two beautiful islands.
