The God of Peace Memorial Statue, located in Memorial Hall in the St. Paul City Hall. This massive statue weighs 60 tons and stands 36 feet high. Made of Mexican Onyx and sculpted by Carl Miles, it is dedicated to the war veterans of Ramsey County. It turns 66 degrees left and 66 degrees right from the center requiring two hours and thirty minutes hours for the complete 132 degree turn.
