I’m not anti-semantic!

Dear Edina Prairie,

How’s things? Did that sore on your lip ever heal properly? Don’t worry about it. Things are pretty busy at B. Dalton’s. I spent the week closing up and boxing down the Pillsbury Center store. It was a little sad, but most of the employees are going to work for the new Barnes and Noble store out in Roseville and the manager is coming over to the City Center store. I had a customer that reminded me of you the last day we were open. She was standing in the Self Improvement section and when I asked we if she needed any help she pointed to the sign above the book shelves and said, “No, I don’t. That’s why I came here to the Self Help section.” When I pointed out that sign actually said Self Improvement, not Self Help she said it was only a matter semantics. I asked her if she was anti-semantic, but she didn’t answer me. There’s just no helping some people. I hope you’re getting all the help you need Edina.

Take care of yourself!

Love,

Nokohaha
