Bishop Ralph S. Cushman, head of the St. Paul area of the Methodist Church, dedicated the Walker Methodist home, 3701 Bryant avenue S. for the care of aged Methodists Of Minnesota. at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 6th, 1947. The home became part of a cooperative of the Minnesota and Northern Minnesota conferences of the Methodist Church. Also taking part in the service were, Dr. Paul J. Snyder, Minnepolis district superintendent of the Methodist church, Dr. Earnest C. Parish, St. Paul district superintendent, Dr. Karl P. Meister, executive secretary of the Methodist board of hospitals and homes, S. W. Pinkerton, chairman of the board of trustees of the home. and Dr. Richard C. Raines. pastor of Hennepin Avenue Methodist.
