One of the largest and most striking down town office buildings in the very heart of the business district. It is located on the corner of Fourth and Minnesota streets, opposite the First National Bank and the State Savings Bank, one block south from the Merchants National Bank and the Bank of Commerce, two blocks southeast from the American National, two blocks southwest from the Capital National Bank and four blocks southwest from the Scandinavian American Bank. The out side is of brown sandstone. The building is constructed after the lat est ideas in fire-proof architecture, steel, brick and tile being almost the only materials used. It is 12 stories high and the remainder of the building is devoted to general office purposes. There are about 150 exceptionally well lighted and ventilated offices, all having outdoor light and finished in the most sumptuous manner. Excellent janitor service is provided by skilled men. Three elevators are continuously in service. Postage service is furnished at the office of the building manager on the third floor, and mailing chutes connecting all floors. A barber shop can be found on the first floor and complete toilet rooms on each floor. Pure cold drinking water from an artesian well used in this building. The building is under the management of H. & Val. J. Rothschild, Inc., rooms 300-303, and receives the personal attention of Mr. Val. J. Rothschild.
