Very Van Cleve Park

A handsome little shelter building in English domestic architectural style has been built at the north end of the small lake. It affords shelter in the summer and a warming room for the skaters in the winter. It also contains modern toilet accommodations. Mr. Cecil Bayless Chapman is the architect, and Mr. E. J. Davis the general con tractor. The cost of the building, complete, including the architect’s fee, is $6,022.02. A new cement sidewalk was also laid on the Fourteenth avenue side of the park. One well has been drilled and splendid drinking water obtained.
