The Minneapolis Institute of Arts. An imposing building of classical design on East Twenty-Fourth Street, between Stephens and Third Avenues houses a splendid collection of paintings, both ancient and modern, sculpture, period furniture, tapestries, prints and other objects of art. These are known throughout the country for their high quality. The Institute is open everyday from 10:00 to 5:00, except on Sunday and Monday, which it is open from 1:00 to 5:00. Admission is free to members at all times, and to others on Wednesday, Saturday and Monday.
