HISTORY of GALE INSTITUTE
THE GALE INSTITUTE 3255 Hennepin Minneapolis, began operation under the name of Electronic Radio-Television Institute. This private trade school became GALE INSTITUTE in 1931, in 1954 it was purchased by John D. and James L. Sheehan. GALE INSTITUTE settled in its three-stow building in 1951. A lovely residential area. there is over 35,000 square feet of space to classrooms and offices. Railroad Telegraphy and Station Agent, Airline Reservation and Ticketing were the first full-time resident training programs offered by GALE. Later.training programs were offered in Engineering Drawing, IBM Accounting, Heavy Equipment Operation, and Jet Engine Career Training. Realizing the need for correspondence education, a home study division of GALE was established in 1955. This division has since enrolled thousands of students. GALE INSTITUTE has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the National Home Study Council. When a student enrolls in any course at the GALE INSTITUTE. all the training equipment and supplies necessary are furnished. The student is provided with the most up-to-date equipment available. GALE also offers its own luxurious dormitory apartments across the street from the school. They provide an atmosphere of a home away from home. GALE housing services locate the student in other quarters during resident training if the student so desires.
