Generally speaking, visitors and even our resident people don’t care particularly to make pleasure trips to the Cemetery; but visitors are entirely welcome to the grounds. and as the trip can readily be made inside of two hours, it is well to know how to get there. We take the Hamline and Jackson car anywhere on Jackson and Fifth, going north on Jackson Street, the distance from the Court House being about one and a half miles, and getting off about one block from the cemetery gate. The cemetery contains about 300 acres, and is well improved by drives and walks. It is not necessary to return to the entering gate to go out. While at the upper or north part, walking to the cast, a narrow gate opens onto Cortland Street, where the return car can be taken back to the city.
