EGGLESS CAKE
Two cups sugar, 1 cup butter, 2 cups buttermilk or beaten sour milk, 2 level teaspoons soda, 1 tea- spoon each of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and allspice, 31/2 cups Champlin Best Flour, 2 cups chopped raisins, 1 cup chopped English walnuts. Add nuts and raisins last. Bake slowly.
