MINNEAPOLIS ATHLETIC CLUB
THE CAVALIER ROOM
A unique friendly room in which to
meet your fellow members.
Air conditioned and newly decorated.
There are those old-timers who would say the “athletic” has gone out of the Minneapolis Athletic Club, but the club’s president would answer— “THE OLDER you get, the faster you ran as a kid.” President Of the 3,800- member club with the 14-story building at 615 2nd Av. S. is Maurice A. Hessian, 101 Maple Hill Road, Hopkins. Hessian has perspective on the club because his late father, also Maurice A. and also a lawyer, was also an MAC president. The club was organized in 1913 by Charles Henry Genslinger, who had organized and built a dozen or more athletic clubs around the country.
