Constructed in 1913, this Classical Revival church was designed by Clarence H. Johnston, Sr. for the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Saint Paul. The exterior features cream-colored brick, with a row of arches interspersed with Doric columns and pilasters on its Summit Avenue side, along with French doors on the first floor. The rear and Grotto Street sides repeat this arch pattern with shallower recesses and pilasters instead of columns. The church has a flat roof framed by a decorative parapet, with a central hipped roof over the main sanctuary. Limestone trim, a dentil cornice, and double-hung windows add to its detail. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, the building contributes to the Historic Hill District.
